Doctors only giving 30 day supply with F2F

I have recently learned from other forums that apparently patients are only getting a thirty day supply at their face to face consult with no refills. With my upcoming 7 hour drive to my consult in Florida I to am concerned that this
will happen to me as well. I am somewhat perplexed at the recent course of action after being given an email
stating that upon leaving the f2f I would have a script with the original script and two refills. Instead I
have learned (after pre paying and scheduling) that the doctor will call every month to refill the script for an
additional cost (120.00). As a layman I get that we should be thankful for what we get right, however are we to ask, beg, plead, promise the doctor to give us refills or "comply" with these "new" procedures? Understanding my
concern would be appreciated, and if anyone has had a different experience with f2f I would like to know.

OTN Saved Me: Old Company Had Scarey F2F

I want to let you know, I had used another company and did the F2F visit. It was the scariest, most horrific and bizarre experience. Not only was the doctor creepy but he was DIRTY and his office was in a basement, lack of lights, trash everywhere (I was waiting for a rat to run across the floor). It was also in a predominantly hysidic (spelling) Jewish neighborhood that I particulary did not fit into and the people were rude to me, if they even answered me when I asked directions. Plus traffic to and from the office was terrible and so was the parking situation.
Also, there were one patient before me and one after me and during the patient before me he had the door left wide open so I could hear their entire conversation... so much for privacy. He had records, patient files, pamphlets, samples, etc. so cluttered around the room that you could not even walk. He also, an this one freaked me out, did not change the paper cloth on the examination seat after the last patient and none of his tools were sterilized. Since he was also a hysidic Jewish doctor he would not look me in the eye, touch me for the examination or treat me with any sort of respect. I was not only scared but he made me feel ashamed.
Seriously, this was an experience that I will never forget. I would do anything to never have to go there again.
I am being honest with you because I don't want you to consider me to be doctor shopping. I was with another company and I do not want to EVER use them again. Hopefully, I will be able to use OTN and will have a better experience with another doctor. I know that this doctor uses various sites because he asked what site I had used.
If someone reads this post and gets anything out of it... Just be careful. I am admittably nieve but this was an eye opener. I hope this helps some of you out there. Good luck and best wishes... I want to say good ridence to PAIN forever.

I would just like to say that Mike and OTN Group are a cut above any other company (and I mean ANY company)! I have been using their service for at least a year and a half and have never had any problems. Their customer service is excellent and outstanding. I recently had a very bad experience with a pharmacy regarding my Rx. OTN and Mike and the doctor stood behind me 100%, and it was a great feeling knowing that someone had my "back." Mike walked me through the process, explained the situation and completely backed me up, no questions asked. I told them they have a client for life as far as I am concerned. Here's to OTN, Mike, the doctors and staff and their continued success!!
